Exhibition hall steel structure
Selyvonenko, Ivan ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Brosch, Petr (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is the design and structural analysis of an exhibition hall. The building is located in Brno city. The dimensions of a floor plan are 121,8 m x 66,5 m, the height is 17,75 m. The load-bearing structure consists of arched truss girders, which are pin-supported by fixed columns. The distance between main trusses is 8,7 m. The supporting part of the roof deck consists of solid-purlins. Spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured by cross bracing and longitudinal bracing. All structural members are made of rolled steel profiles and are designed according to current ČSN EN standards. Steel S355 is used as the construction material. This thesis consists of structural design report of main load bearing elements including connections design and drawings.
Array of Stell Aggregate Bins
Krchnák, Martin ; Bajer, Miroslav (referee) ; Brosch, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes the design and assessment of steel structural design of the steel aggregate bins including roofing. The construction has a ground plan of about 33 x 9 m and it is divided into 8 cells bins. Main material is steel, grade S355 and S235. There is developed a static analysis of the main load-bearing parts of the structure, including joints and selected details.
The design of ETICS using insulation core made of aerated concrete
Machala, David ; Zach,, Jiří (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with theoretical suggestions of contact self-supporting insulation system with an insulating core made of porous concrete. The text prepared knowledge about ETICS system, the properties of porous concrete are thoroughly described, including the history and the most often used technology for production of porous concrete. The conclusion is made by comparison of economical and thermal insulation criteria using optimizing calculation and the applicability criteria of proposed ETICS are stated.
Experimental analysis of anchor zones of reinforced concrete elements strengthened with steel plates
Vepřek, Karel ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Žítt, Petr (advisor)
Anchorage method of external reinforcement for verification anchor areas by experimental analysis. Design and manufacture of trial units for laboratory testing. Running tests of chosen mechanical qualities of trial units. Experimental analysis of trial units in laboratory and creation of mathematic model by Athena software.Evaluation of experimental analysis and comparing with figures of numeric analysis and statistical calculation.Graphical comparing of results and concluding overall assessment.
The steel roof structure of a tennis hall
Šašinka, Jakub ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the design and assessment of steel structure of the roofing of the sports hall. The supporting structure of hall is 20.00 meters span, 39.80 m length and 11.99 m height. Main construction material is steel, grade S235. There were done 3 possible variants of the hall, from which one of them was calculated in detail. It is prepared by static analysis of the main load-bearing parts of the structure, including joints and details. The supporting structure of hall consists in the transverse direction from the curved spatial lattice structure made of steel circular tubes.
The exhibition hall in Olomouc
Ćmiel, Jiří ; Buchta, Stanislav (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
Master's thesis includes designing of exhibition pavilon on a circular platform with a diameter of 35m. The pavilon is designed as a schwedler circular dome. The construction is designed as a ball and is made of tubes. Pavilon includes designing of floors and stairs bearing system that is also made of steel.
The roof structure of a bus station with facilities in Vrchlabí
Vondráček, Vít ; Hron, Lukáš (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The subject of bachelor's thesis is design and assessment of steel load-bearing construction of bus station in Vrchlabí. It is designed as a co-operating load-bearing steel pillar based structure with the construction of the outdoor platform. The design was considered in four different options for inner building. Followed was mainly the weight of inner structure with respect to the roof deck. The selected option is then incorporated into the scope of the entire structure. Design and assessment was conducted in accordance with the applicable standards and by using a computer program Scia Engineer.
Design of the bridge over the river
Býčková, Klára ; Rušar, Jaromír (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim is to propose solutions to the new bridge construction due to its unsatisfactory compared to the existing bridge reconstruction project . There are three studies bridging and selected variant trapezoidal plate further processed static opinion. The design was judged by the ultimate limit states and usability. Partial assessments were made for the anchoring system, anchorage area , unravels notched bars and store design to support .
Roof over the Administration Buildings Forecourt
Baculak, Ladislav ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Brosch, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis describes the design and assessment of the roof structure that covers the courtyard of office buildings. Structure has a regular floor plan and roof height is 15,0 m. The material if the structure is steel S355, bolts 8.8., steel of the pins is S355. Construction is located in Brno. Two options were produced and designed, evaluated according to the latest standards.
Anchor silicate expansion material with increased temperature resistance
Müller, Jiří ; Luňáček,, Martin (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the development of an expansive anchor material. This material is intended especially for the engineering and power industry where the operating conditions cause thermal stresses of the anchor. In order to meet the requirements for a firm and secure connection of the anchored part, it is necessary to achieve excellent physical-mechanical properties of the developed material such as high compressive strength, high tensile strength based on the base, and resistance to thermal stresses till 200 ° C. All of these processes must be achieved after the ageing of the cement material. Due to the current trend of modern materials that are environmentally friendly, the use of partial replacements for Portland cement is used as a substitute for a primary binder.
